It's that time again: the INSPY award judges have ruled, and the 2016 winners are ready to be announced. I was very pleased to read this year's speculative category contestants, and even happier to post the winner today.

I've already posted a review of this book (and some more thoughts) as part of last December's CSFF blog tour. I hope to get more reviews up of the other contestants soon. The winner's sequel is due this November, so I highly recommend you prepare by picking up a copy of The Shock of Night soon.
