inspiration + perspiration = invention :: T. Edison ::
This week's post is once again at a different location, this time at Babblings of a Bookworm. Thank you to host Ceri for sharing Gentlemen of Gloucestershire with her readers, as well as letting me speak a little in defense of Henry Tilney as a character. Head over to her blog to get a sneak peek of Wednesday's chapter involving an argument between our leading man and his father.
Also, thank you to all my faithful commenters who waited for me to get through the past week's stress before responding. Despite the many challenges involved, the children's theatre I work with successfully produced their first show since being shut down by the pandemic last year, which was an incredible achievement for both the kids and organization. I'm grateful the weather cooperated to serve concessions outside, that people largely cooperated when it came to social distancing and masking, and that we all have some time to recover before trying to do it all again in the spring.
Edited 11/17/2021: my interview at Babblings of a Bookworm has been delayed until Saturday. Blog readers will have already read Chapter 22 by then, but I hope you still head over to enjoy some of my commentary on Northanger Abbey and its leading man.
