The Women's Theatre Festival is partnering with the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra for a May 7th concert. Musical works inspired by Shakespeare's plays will be interwoven with monologues, allowing the music and text to illuminate each other. The shows include: Henry V, The Merchant of Venice, Much Ado About Nothing, The Merry Wives of Windsor, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo & Juliet/West Side Story, and Othello. Performers: Rebecca Jones, Lucinda Gainey, Camille Watson, Amy Arnold, Jennifer Suchanec, Nan L. Stephenson, Joanna Herath, Abby Jordan, and Ann Forsthoefel. Directors: Jennifer Markowitz, Rebecca Blum, Savannah Core, Michele Okoh, Amelia Sciandra, Sue Scarborough, Michelle Wood, and Elena Lindstrom.
