inspiration + perspiration = invention :: T. Edison ::
This week marked a momentous occasion: for the first time ever, I completed an entire writing series. I've got hard drives and notebooks strewn with half-completed ideas and chapters of ideas, but never before have I managed to get a completed story out the door. I'm too much like Dr. Frankenstein, leaving my half-completed creations moldering and forgotten.
I'm really trying to up my writing this year, and so far I'm off to a good start. I've fleshed out a blog calendar and created a calendar for ezine submission deadlines. I've managed to consistently get several television reviews for Galavant and Agent Carter up the day after an episode, and now I've got a full fan fiction series up: That's What Tigers Do Best, based on the public domain novel Star Surgeon. It's not too ambitious: just six shorts connected by an overarching theme. Still, that's a big accomplishment for me.
If you'd like to read the series on your eReader of choice, here's an ePub link. I may also produce an audio version of the book for download in the future; if so, I'll post a link on the series page. I had a lot of fun creating new adventures for Dal, Tiger, and Jack, and got some ideas for a few more in the process.
In the mean time I'd love anyone's comments, critiques, or suggestions for future series.
