Are you as excited about the new Star Trek movie as I am? After catching the latest trailer before The Hobbit, inspiration took over my vacation and I just had to create a fan version. It's late for Christmas and even Boxing Day, but here's a holiday gift for all Trekkies.
It's been quite a while since I sat down to do some serious audio/video editing, and this project provided a fun relearning experience. As with all fan media, this trailer is mixed from materials not created by myself. The film is directed by JJ Abrams, produced by Bad Robot, Paramount Pictures, and Skydance Productions, and Visual Effects and Animation are by Industrial Light & Magic. The "Carol of the Bells" music used in this trailer was mixed from two different arrangements: one by the very excellent Piano Guys and the other by Elu, an artist I wasn't familiar with prior to buying this track. Please support these artists (and enjoy good music at the same time).
