inspiration + perspiration = invention :: T. Edison ::
At long last, the day has arrived: the entirety of Gentlemen of Gloucestershire is released to one and all. I want to post a really good wrap-up of this incredible writing journey, but that will have to wait until Christmas is over. Instead, I want to show my appreciation for the great comments I've received.
Here are some highlights:

"despite her earlier success with vermin" loooollll.

Henry should've chucked that apple at Frederick. Or maybe a chair for greater damage.

Henry and Catherine are my favorite Austen's couple and I love their interactions together. They are very devoted to each other so is very difficult to make conflicts with them, especially when involves jealousy. So props to you to make a situation where Henry is able to fell insecure and at the same time both of them are together against the situation!

Okay, at this point I felt finally, he’s coming to his senses until this:

I was not expecting to laugh so much with this chapter, but I couldn't help it when Henry emerged into consciousness with such flirtatious thoughts--he really can't help himself, can he?

General: your wife is cool you guys should stay much longer
Henry: ...... suss
With hat in hand he threw the door open, prepared to receive all the reward a young husband must expect upon such an entrance.

You may imagine how different were the emotions he experienced at discovering her in the arms of his profligate brother. pic.twitter.com/5MAW89PH3l
Again, these are just a few of the many replies given over the last few months. I am so grateful to each and every reader. In addition, I must also thank my excellent beta reader Alicia for helping get this novel into decent shape, as well as Babblings of a Bookworm and Austenesque Reviews for showcasing the story on their blogs.
So, what's next? First, I have to get through the holiday season, which I hope is very merry to all. I plan to begin posting Northanger Abbey fan fiction again in 2022 with a series of drabbles/shorts I'm calling "Trifles Light as Air." Look for a cover reveal in January. I have at least one additional fan fiction book with a first draft completed, and more in the early planning/writing stages. My goal would be to return to longer form posting next summer or fall, but we'll see how that goes. I also would like to dive back into some of my other projects that aren't related to Jane Austen, but again, time will tell.
It has truly been a gift to share this little story with the world, and receive so much positive feedback in return. Like the Tilneys, I pray that you and yours will experience a happy conclusion to this year after the many challenges of the recent past.
Finis ... until we meet again.
