February 3: inspired by two prompts, written for Pride and Prejudice. Space AU first explored in the short story Perennial.

The haunting trace of someone humming a popular NuOrt refrain drew him away from the march to his office. It was obviously an intern or one of the guides finishing up a tour or maybe a student waiting for one to start, and not the person who introduced him to the terribly fascinating intricacies possible in something so prosaically likeable, but Forbes followed the sound anyway.

It should be statistically impossible for him to literally stumble into Elindale Beyincé again: and yet, somehow, they beat the odds.
